Lucy and her mom are such lekker chommies, made us feel right at home! Brekkie was the highlight—those American pancakes are a game changer. The bed was so comfy, I could’ve snoozed the whole day away! Plus, the location is just perfect for a stroll around town.

Had to haul our bags up a couple of steep stairs—bit of a workout!

The scrambled eggs at breakfast? Absolute magic! Plus, Lucy's kindness turned our stay into an unforgettable adventure. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the cozy vibe meant we felt right at home.

Now, if only there was a kettle in our room for a late-night cuppa! But honestly, the charm of this place makes up for any little hiccup.

No bath in the room, which was a letdown considering the price. Had to go downstairs for tea and coffee, which isn't ideal. One room experienced issues with a non-functional toilet, forcing guests to use the one down the hall.

We really loved the spectacular breakfast and the perfect location, but the lack of a wardrobe made things a bit messy. Still, the comfy room was a win!

The Superior Double Room offered a spacious vibe that made it feel like home—a key in any quality stay. Sleeping comfortably was easy with the cozy layout and bright atmosphere, truly enjoyable.

The room lacked a kettle, which would have been handy for late-night cups. I also had to navigate some steep stairs with my luggage, which isn’t ideal, and there were minor inconveniences like the dark bath mat that snagged in the bathroom door and a missing shower cap. Plus, the lack of privacy for the bathroom window was a bit awkward during the day.

My stay at Bridge Street Townhouse was delightful! The warmth of our host Lucy made me feel right at home. She provided fantastic local dining recommendations and ensured the breakfast was a sumptuous affair, featuring homemade scones and a diverse menu.

the check-in process was a true disaster, which really set the tone for my stay. i really expected, considering the price, a delightful bath to unwind in, but alas, the shower was it. And honestly, a complimentary gesture for my inconvenience would have been nice, but it seems that’s reserved for ‘special’ guests. truly disappointing.

Breakfast was a true gourmet experience. you really must visit!
